Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 August 2026

This policy covers the Blue Moon Development website. It's written in plain English rather than legalese, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody. The short version: the only personal data we collect is what you type into the contact form, and we use it to reply to you.

What we collect

Only what you submit through the contact form:

We don't run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on this site. There is no login, and we don't build a profile of you.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it, and — if we end up working together — to carry on that conversation. That's the whole purpose. We don't use it for marketing lists, and we never sell or rent it to anyone.

Who else can see it

Two services are involved in running this site, and both are bound by their own privacy terms:

Nobody else gets access to your enquiry.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into projects are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, we keep correspondence for as long as we need it for the project and our business records. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your choices

Email us and we'll action any of the following, free of charge and normally within 30 days:

Depending on where you live you may have these rights by law. We'd honour them regardless.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords, payment details, or anything else sensitive through the contact form.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made quietly.
